The anti-rotation system can be installed on any drill, and this prevents rotation of the outer sleeve to prevent it from spinning against steel cladding. This is particularly useful when driving self-drilling screws into steel structures given the drill shavings typically produced which could otherwise create a scratching concern.
While fine to utilize, this system is typically not necessary if fastening into wood substrates with sharp point screws as those produce very little if any drill shavings.
The front sleeve fits snugly on the outside of a driver (multiple size options exist for different drive outside diameters). The anti-rotation block is zip-tied to a drill. The torque arm will prevent rotation of the outer sleeve.
Note, when working with screws that have a floating washer, it is important to ensure a gap between the head of the screw and the washer, as this is where the ball bearings in the driver grab the head of the screw.
